Due to the current COVID-19 quarantine, we are putting our weekly meeting on hold for now. We are currently researching webcasting software to enable virtual meetups, check back here for updates.
About IOW LUUG. Our group began after meeting another Linux enthusiast at our favorite local coffee shop. The shop was looking to host different theme nights and Mondays were available, so we started our group in February 2019. In the last year we installed Linux on 6 laptops for folks, and assisted a local non-profit by finding a free accounting software solution.
In the future we plan to have a robot night one week a month, to focus on Arduino and Python based hardware development boards.
We currently meet at Cure Coffee in Smithfield Virginia (almost) every Monday after 5pm (17:00 EST).
